Hello and welcome to ELT with Vicky, a site dedicated to English language teaching ideas, lesson plans, and classroom activities. I’m an English language teacher and Academic Manager from the UK, now based in Andalusia, Spain, with over 15 years of experience teaching students of all ages and levels. Over the years, I’ve learned a lot about what works in the classroom and I’m excited to share it with you.

My teaching focuses on collaborative and creative activities that promote independent thinking, learner autonomy, and engagement. I especially enjoy teaching primary students and preparing teens and adults for exams. I love adapting coursebook exercises and creating my own worksheets, games, speaking activities, and materials to keep learners motivated and involved.

After years of discovering and using excellent materials from peers online, I wanted to give something back.
