English language teaching ideas, reflections and materials

Hello! Thanks for visiting English Language Teaching (ELT) with me, Vicky! I'm an English language teacher and academic manager originally from the UK based in Andalusia, Spain. I've been teaching English to Spanish students of all ages and abilities for over 10 years now and am pleased to say that I've learnt a lot during that time!

My teaching focuses on collaborative activities that promote independent thinking, learner autonomy and creativity. I especially enjoy teaching primary students and upper-intermediate level teen/adult groups, in particular B2 Cambridge First exam preparation courses. I love to adapt coursebook exercises and create my own worksheets, games, speaking activities and other miscellaneous materials to keep my students engaged. After years of finding and using so many excellent materials and lesson plans shared by my peers online, I thought it was time to give something back.
